Place Orders – PO Number limited to 16 characters
To ensure the full PO Number is retained throughout order processing, limit PO Number values to 16 characters or fewer when submitting orders through the Place Order endpoint. Validate and restrict PO Number length to 16 characters within your application before submitting orders.
NOTE: Orders containing PO Numbers longer than 16 characters will still be accepted by the API. However, downstream systems will automatically truncate the PO Number to 16 characters, which may result in loss of information.
